Every day this week!

It is so easy to get out of routines in long, hot, lazy summer days! So, I am imposing a bit of longed-for structure on my week.

Every day this week, I will do yoga and meditation; not only that, but I will do it first thing in the morning. Two exceptions: I have early-morning clients tomorrow, so I will do it mid-morning. On Friday morning, I will have a houseguest staying over, so I will do yoga and meditation after my guest leaves.

Every day I will practice kundalini yoga. More and more, I find that this is MY practice-the yoga that brings me into union with myself, the universe, my inner knowing. I practice most often with Ravi and Ana DVDs. I will also practice some other form of hatha yoga, and meditate for a minimum of twenty minutes.

Today I did Yoga Bliss Hips followed by David Swenson's 30 Minute Practice in Short Forms. I did 20 minutes seated meditation and walking meditation to and from the grocery store (one mile each way).

I also bought a ton of organic produce and will make light, healthy fare to eat all week. Enough with the pizza and beer!
