WOW

The summer is flying by. So much has happened, I truly don't even know where to start.

So I will start here, and work my way back, and work my way forward, and harness some of my wild and frisky and natural summer energy into writing more frequently.

I had an incredible workshop with Dare to Be Free in July, and will be doing another Dare to Be Free October 24th and 25th. It is deeply transformational, fun, and heart-opening work. Come and shed your self-limiting beliefs in Boston that weekend!

I am also doing a Leadership project, The Politics of Polarization: Creating Dialogue Between the Left and the Right in 21st-Century America, in just a little over two weeks, with my dear friend and polar opposite politically, Douglas Buxton. Dougie and I met in March and our friendship has changed me and how I "be" with people who are different from me (ie right wing conservative folks) in a profound way.

Dougie and I believe that a shift in communication between the right and the left in 21st-century America MUST happen. Our ways of being with the "other" are unsustainable and the two sides are at war. We want to create opportunities for true dialogue WITHOUT the need for agreement. Douglas and I will probably never agree on many things and in fact each find some of eachother's views repugnant. However, we are living proof that love and respect for the humanity of your polar opposite is where we must begin these important conversations and begin to heal the rift in our nation and the world.

More soon, promise! xo
